Conneely’s is a family-run funeral directors based on Flood Street in Galway City, serving families across Galway city and county since 1845. Now in its sixth generation, the Conneely family provides personal support day and night, with a team available by phone 24 hours a day to guide families through funeral arrangements and care for their loved ones.

The company arranges religious, civil, humanist and eco funerals according to each family’s wishes. Its services include burial and cremation, help with arranging a funeral, and live streaming so relatives abroad can participate. The funeral home features a private family room and covered courtyard, while its Flood Street showroom displays coffins, caskets and urns, with a range described by the company as the largest in the west of Ireland. Conneely’s also provides information on Galway burial grounds, cemetery fees and grave options, confirming costs before arrangements are made. Families can find recent death notices and guidance on readings, prayers and hymns through the company’s website.
