Greifvogelauffangstation Mittelfranken e.V. is a nonprofit association and wildlife rescue station located near Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany. Run by falconers and knowledgeable association members, it cares for injured, ill, and otherwise vulnerable birds of prey, owls, and storks. The team provides the time, expertise, and calm care these birds need to recover, with the aim of returning each animal to its natural habitat once it can fly and live independently again.

The station’s work is limited to these bird groups; the association directs people seeking help for other bird species or wildlife to Wildtierhilfe Mittelfranken e.V. It also raises awareness and supports its mission through public events, including local festivals and markets in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Uffenheim, Scheinfeld, and Aichach, as well as the Waldweihnacht at Gut Mergenthau. People who find a bird of prey, owl, or stork in need can report it using the station’s emergency number, +49 175 1500549.
