About Gamblers Anonymous
Gamblers Anonymous Ireland is a unique spiritual fellowship dedicated to aiding men and women in overcoming gambling addiction. The organization operates on the principle of sharing experiences, strength, and hope to support one another in the recovery journey. With no central leadership or formal structure, Gamblers Anonymous welcomes individuals from various religious backgrounds, as well as agnostics and atheists.
The GA Recovery Programme centers on embracing spiritual values, emphasizing qualities like generosity, honesty, and humility. Membership in GA simply requires a desire to cease gambling, with no other requirements or obligations. Anonymity is highly prized within the fellowship, fostering unity and attracting new members.
Financial support for group meetings and services is voluntarily provided by members to ensure the sustainability of the organization. Emphasizing humility and service, Gamblers Anonymous strives to create a supportive and encouraging environment for individuals seeking liberation from the grips of gambling addiction
