Gamefishers Club

The Gamefishers Club is a long-established, well-respected private fly-fishing club based in the Midlands. It provides members with opportunities to fish for wild brown trout and grayling on rivers and brooks across Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Gloucestershire, and Powys, in the border counties of England and Wales. Fishing is fly-only, reflecting the Club’s focus on traditional fly-fishing for wild fish in local waters.

The Club’s website introduces its history and activities, provides information about available fishing waters, and explains how to apply for membership. Membership is limited, although a few vacancies usually arise each season. When no place is available, applicants may join the waiting list and be notified when a vacancy opens. Prospective members can use the website’s membership section to apply or request contact from a Club official. Current members can also access a members-only area. The Gamefishers Club is therefore suited to anglers seeking access to a private network of river and brook fishing in the English and Welsh border region.
