ゲームテクター

GameTector (ゲームテクター) is a brand that specializes in providing a platform for organizing and participating in gaming tournaments. With a focus on accurately assessing players' skill levels, they have introduced a unique rating system called GTレート (GT Rate). This rating system quantifies the players' strengths based on their performance in GameTector tournaments, using an algorithm similar to the one used for calculating the FIFA ranking in soccer.

The GTレート starts with an initial value of 700 and fluctuates depending on the outcomes of matches. Winning games leads to an increase in the rating, while losing results in a decrease. The magnitude of the rating change is determined by the rating difference between opponents.

For example, defeating players with higher ratings has a more significant impact on the rating than defeating players with lower ratings. The GTレート is updated on the day after a tournament concludes, with results only being reflected once the tournament is over. The distribution of players across different ranks based on their GT Rate is also displayed, providing an overview of the player base.

GameTector enables anyone to easily organize tournaments, ranging from small gatherings with friends to large-scale events involving thousands of participants. It is a platform that fosters the spirit of competition and community in the gaming world
