Gaming Addicts Anonymous

Gaming Addicts Anonymous (GAA) is a supportive fellowship designed for individuals seeking recovery from excessive video gaming. Established as a safe space, GAA unites members through shared experiences aimed at overcoming gaming addiction. The only requirement for joining is a genuine desire to stop gaming, fostering a welcoming environment without dues or fees.

GAA operates on a principle of mutual support rather than hierarchy or professional guidance. Members engage in meetings—available both online and in local groups—where they can share their paths to sobriety and discuss personal challenges and successes. The organization emphasizes the importance of honesty, open-mindedness, and willingness, incorporating a Twelve Step recovery program that some members choose to adopt.

GAA is independent of any political, religious, or governmental affiliations, focusing solely on helping individuals reclaim control over their gaming habits. Through collective strength and community resources, GAA encourages everyone to explore their own journey toward balance and fulfillment beyond gaming.
