About Gamma Ray Digital
Gamma Ray Digital is a brand that specializes in top-quality film finishing services for archives, libraries, independent filmmakers, and consumers. Whether you have a valuable collection of historical film or a treasured collection of home movies, Gamma Ray Digital is here to assist you. Founded in 2000, the brand initially offered DVD authoring services at reasonable rates, catering to the needs of independent filmmakers and small distribution companies.
As the industry evolved, they expanded their services to include film restoration, Blu-ray authoring, and archival film scanning. In 2013, they introduced the only 2k film scanner in Boston for 16mm and 8mm film gauges, filling an important gap in the local market. Over the years, they have continued to upgrade their scanning capabilities, with the latest addition being a custom-built 35/70mm 14k scanner.
