Gammes is a nonprofit association based in Montpellier, where it has worked for more than 75 years to support people facing challenges related to age, health, unemployment, exclusion, or discrimination. Its mission is to help people preserve or regain their autonomy, guided by the commitment to leave no one behind. The association serves around 14,000 people through four areas of activity.
Its Home Autonomy and Health services support people in their daily lives and health needs. Its Emergency, Insertion, Accommodation and Housing work provides welcome and support for people seeking safety, stability, or a route toward greater independence. Through Economic Activity and Employment Integration, Gammes helps people move toward employment, while its Social Life activities encourage participation and community connection.
These services are delivered through the engagement of employees and volunteers. People can support the association by becoming members, volunteering, working for Gammes, partnering with it, or making a donation. With its work rooted in shared values, Gammes aims to promote autonomy and inclusion across the Montpellier community
