Smart browsing

Pinker is a free desktop tool from Pinkerfind that helps people find, organise and share files stored on their computers and networks. Designed for different ways of working, it uses keywords and user-defined topics to make searches easier to browse, without relying on rigid folder structures or complex file-naming rules. Users can explore topics, see how many files match each one and narrow their search, while saved searches can be browsed much like folders.

Pinker also lets users gather files around a topic, then copy, move or zip them, and share topics or use topics created by others. The service does not require time-consuming metadata tagging. Pinkerfind says files remain where they are and that Pinker does not alter or transfer user data or information elsewhere.

The brand offers the desktop application for download, along with support resources including a FAQ, a PDF help guide, release notes and known-issues information. Its website also provides details about the product, the team, news, contact options, privacy and service terms
