About Ganesh Pooja Kit
Bhadyatha Foundation, established in 2014, is a pioneering initiative that provides an Organic Eco-Friendly Ganesh Pooja Kit. This innovative kit was created to ensure that festival funds benefit local communities, including natural farmers, handicraft artisans, and goshalas, rather than large factories. The foundation proudly operates with the support of volunteers and 110 local shopkeepers across various regions, particularly in Hyderabad.
Each kit is thoughtfully designed and contains a 20cm Ganga clay idol, 21 pooja patra sachets, seven organic pooja items, and a six-item nimarjan kit, all packaged in a handwoven cloth bag. Remarkably, the kit is entirely free from plastic and chemicals, emphasizing Bhadyatha’s commitment to environmental sustainability. While online bookings are currently closed, interested individuals are encouraged to contact local centers for availability.
Through this initiative, Bhadyatha Foundation not only enriches the traditional celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi but also fosters economic empowerment in the community
