Gangotra 1916 is a luxury tailoring house based in Beeston, Nottingham, specialising in made-to-measure and bespoke menswear. Founded by award-winning designer Ash Gangotra, the brand combines contemporary style with a family tailoring heritage that honours his grandfather, a first-generation tailor born in 1916. Ash brings more than 35 years of sartorial experience, including work with British menswear labels and global fashion runways.

The studio creates custom suits for business, weddings and formal occasions, including black-tie tuxedos, as well as casual and seasonal tailoring. Clients can also commission made-to-measure shirts and ties, with ties handcrafted in Italy to individual specifications. The collection extends to custom shoes, belts, dress socks, fragrance and other tailored accessories. Personal styling and complete suit packages help clients coordinate a look suited to their needs and occasion.

Appointments take place at the Beeston studio, where customers receive personalised guidance from Ash. Gangotra 1916 also offers gift vouchers, hosts The Tailored Circle, a gentlemen’s club focused on sartorial and lifestyle interests, and shares menswear advice through its journal.
