Gao Shan Pictures est une société de production et un studio d’animation français fondés à la Réunion début 2014 par Arnauld Boulard. Le Studio est spécialisé dans la production et co-production de films d’animation, et propose également des services de production exécutive. Gao Shan Pictures a coproduit entre autres le film Zombillenium, présenté en sélection officielle au Festival de Cannes 2017 et nommé au César du meilleur film d’animation en 2018, et le court métrage Vilaine Fille (Grand Prix au Festival de Clermont-Ferrand et Prix du Jury au Festival d’Annecy 2017). Le studio a plus récemment réalisé l’animation keyframe de Croc-Blanc et une partie de celle de Funan, présenté en sélection officielle au Festival d’Annecy cette année, et dont Gao Shan Pictures est également co-producteur. La société coproduit actuellement Yakari, le film de Xavier Giacometti (Dargaud Media) et réalise l’animation du long-métrage J’ai perdu mon corps de Jérémy Clapin (produit par Xilam). Situé à Saint Gilles les bains, le studio bénéficie d’une situation exceptionnelle et peut accueillir jusqu’à 60 artistes. Son emplacement dans l’Océan indien est également un atout pour les collaborations internationales.

About GAO SHAN PICTURES
Gao Shan Pictures is a French production company and animation studio founded in La Réunion in early 2014 by Arnauld Boulard. Specializing in the production and co-production of animated films, the studio also offers executive production services. Gao Shan Pictures has co-produced various films, including Zombillenium, which was selected for the Official Competition at the Cannes Film Festival in 2017 and nominated for the César Award for Best Animated Film in 2018.
They have also produced the short film Vilaine Fille, which won the Grand Prix at the Clermont-Ferrand Festival and the Jury Prize at the Annecy Festival in 2017. Recently, the studio has worked on the keyframe animation for Croc-Blanc and Funan, both selected for the Official Competition at the Annecy Festival. Currently, they are co-producing Yakari and providing animation for J'ai perdu mon corps.
Located in Saint Gilles les bains, the studio has an exceptional setting and can accommodate up to 60 artists. Its location in the Indian Ocean is also advantageous for international collaborations
