Garasjebryggeriet, established in 2012, is Haugesund's first and only brewery and distillery. Located in the historic Høvleriet, one of Norway's best-preserved industrial cultural landmarks, we are always on the lookout for the taste of Haugalandet, where our ancestors were involved in agriculture and fishing. They were also known for developing some of the world's finest ship hull designs, which allowed them to engage in trade and exchange knowledge and ideas.

Alongside local flavors, we explore what we believe to be the essence of Haugalandet: The Taste of Haugalandet. Inspired by the tattoos brought back by sailors during Norway's golden age of maritime exploration, our labels showcase dragons, boats, and beautiful women, evoking memories of distant horizons. We take pride in our craftsmanship, putting our heart and soul into creating beers for those who appreciate quality.

In addition to our brewery, we have a brew-pub, outdoor swimming area, two concert arenas, and other facilities available for rent. We also offer beer tastings and lectures on the essence of beer. Stay tuned for our upcoming gin, aquavit, and whisky tastings.

We have a store located at Strandgata 119, which is generally open during the holiday season. Unfortunately, we do not offer shipping, so items must be collected from the store by appointment
