Gardener's Orchard and Bakery is a delightful You-Pick family fun farm, proudly owned and operated by the Gradinariu family since 2013. Immigrants from Romania, they relocated to Southwest Missouri to fulfill their lifelong dream of running a farm. Initially engaged in commercial turkey farming, the family transitioned to solely focus on the orchard, cultivating a diverse range of fruits and berries while establishing a bake-from-scratch bakery.
The farm not only offers fresh, locally grown produce but also provides engaging farm tours and hosts community events. With ten children, the Gradinariu family is dedicated to encouraging local agriculture and educating their community about the importance of eating locally sourced food. Their initiative Meet Your Farmer includes a monthly video series showcasing how food is grown and the significance of supporting local farms.
