About NZ Gardens Trust
New Zealand Gardens Trust is a passionate organization dedicated to sharing the beauty of gardens and offering a range of traditional and innovative garden experiences and designs. As a Trust of the Royal New Zealand Institute of Horticulture, they promote the best in New Zealand gardens and horticulture. To ensure an authentic garden experience, all gardens are assessed by a team of highly-qualified horticulturalists and landscape designers on a three-year cycle.
The Trust is governed by dedicated trustees and supported by a part-time manager. Garden members, both private and public, open their gardens to visitors, while Friends membership offers networking opportunities and exclusive benefits. The Trust also provides a guide to star ratings, distinguishing gardens based on their design, maintenance, and plant interest.
