Gári

Islandshesteforeningen Gári is a riding club in Brønderslev, North Jutland, for people who share an interest in Icelandic horses. Based in the scenic Thise Hills, the association welcomes riders with or without a horse and aims to foster enthusiasm for the breed while creating a positive environment for newcomers and experienced riders alike.

Gári brings members together through organised rides, social events, courses and meetings focused on learning and community. Its facilities support training and events, and the club’s activities include riding-school offerings, group rides and gatherings. Younger members can join Gári Young Riders, a programme centred on play, learning and enjoyable experiences with Icelandic horses.

Membership provides access to activities, community and updates about events, while also offering opportunities to take part in the association’s board work and decisions. The club shares practical information, event calendars and meeting minutes through its website, alongside details about membership, facilities and activities. Interested riders can contact Gári by phone or email for more information.
