Garnfestivalen

Garnfestivalen is a Danish event celebrating yarn, knitting, crochet and other textile crafts. Held at Nørre Alslev Hallerne in Nørre Alslev, the festival brings together visitors, exhibitors and craft enthusiasts for a weekend of browsing, inspiration and entertainment. Its 2027 edition is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, 10–11 April, following the 2026 festival, which organizers describe as a success.

The festival features numerous stands and dedicated inspiration areas, alongside entertainment from the stage. Its programme and exhibitor listings highlight a broad range of yarn and craft interests, including yarn sellers and dyers, knitting and crochet, embroidery, lace-making, alpaca-related offerings and design. Visitors can also find activities such as a knitting café, a swap area and refreshments including coffee, tea and cake.
