Garson Arena

The Garson Arena is a community sports and events facility in Garson, Manitoba, located about a 20-minute drive northeast of Winnipeg, just off Provincial Trunk Highway 44. The modern, year-round venue is available for private functions, including birthday parties, social gatherings and fundraisers. Its NHL-size ice surface measures 200 by 85 feet and is typically available for rental from early October through mid-March.

Facility features include bright LED lighting, recently renovated dressing rooms and showers, heated bleachers, concessions, Wi-Fi access, cell phone coverage and satellite television. Visitors can also enjoy seating salvaged from the former Winnipeg Arena. The arena offers public skating, with session times posted on its schedule and Facebook page, and welcomes ice bookings through its rates and scheduling services.

Participants under 18 must wear a CSA-approved helmet while on the ice. The Garson Arena is also home to Wizards Lacrosse, a member of the Greater Winnipeg Lacrosse Association. Its facilities support local recreation, sports and community events throughout the year
