About GATEKEEPER EU Project
GATEKEEPER is a pioneering European initiative focused on developing multi-centric large-scale pilots for Smart Living Environments. Aiming to enhance the quality of life for aging populations, GATEKEEPER facilitates a platform that connects healthcare providers, businesses, entrepreneurs, and elderly citizens. This collaborative effort fosters an open, trust-based environment for sharing ideas, technologies, and user needs.
At the core of the project is the GATEKEEPER Digital Platform, which utilizes advanced Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs) to improve health and care delivery. Key offerings include the GATEKEEPER Healthcare Space, providing data and services for healthcare professionals; the Consumer Space, which features certified solutions for citizens; and the Business Space, supporting companies in developing compliant solutions. Additionally, the Ecosystem Transaction Space enables data sharing and enhances services across stakeholders. With a focus on innovation, standardization, and collaboration, GATEKEEPER is dedicated to creating smarter, healthier living environments across Europe.
