Gateway Bass 'N Gals

Gateway Bass ’N Gals is a women’s bass fishing club organized to give women the opportunity to compete, learn, and enjoy the sport alongside fellow anglers. It welcomes beginners and experienced anglers, providing a supportive setting where members can share techniques, build skills, and strengthen their confidence on the water. The club promotes fellowship, friendship, and fun, while encouraging women to take part in competitive fishing and challenging the idea that bass fishing is primarily a man’s sport.

Its activities include fishing, tournaments, mentoring, and opportunities for members to connect through club events and a year-end banquet. Member benefits include cash paybacks, awards, recognition of achievements, and the camaraderie of spending time with other women who enjoy fishing. Gateway Bass ’N Gals also supports conservation and environmental stewardship, practices catch and release, and works to introduce young people to fishing through Kids Fish programs. In addition, the club contributes to its communities through charitable fundraising.
