Gather Pottery Art

Gather Pottery and Art Studio is a small, Minnesota-based pottery and art business run by Laura Kim, a potter and painter in Roseville. Laura creates small-batch stoneware pottery designed to combine beauty with everyday usefulness, including handmade pieces such as hand-painted landscape mugs. The studio’s work is offered through an online shop, with updates and discounts shared through a quarterly email newsletter.

Gather also offers group pottery and painting classes in Laura’s home studio. Classes accommodate groups of two to six people and last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Participants learn about the pottery wheel through a demonstration and take turns making a pot; groups of three or more can also enjoy an introductory watercolor lesson while waiting. Classes cost $60 per person and include pottery wheel time, painting, and the pot made during the session. Laura dries, fires, and glazes each participant’s pot in a chosen color, with finished work generally ready for pickup within two to four weeks.
