Gauntlet AI helps organizations become AI-first by developing and placing engineers who can build and ship production systems. Its two offerings serve different team needs: Gauntlet Hire connects companies with AI-first engineers, while Catalyst helps existing employees develop the skills and confidence to lead AI initiatives internally.

The 10-week Gauntlet Hire cohort selects from more than 5,000 applicants per cohort and involves 80–100 hours of production building each week. Participants ship more than 10 applications across web, mobile, and AI, then present an end-to-end system at a live demo day. Gauntlet evaluates engineers through deployed work, weekly reviews, and sustained observation under increasing complexity.

Catalyst is a six-week, full-time program for engineers selected by their employers. Participants build practical AI systems, including retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, agents, workflows, and MCP projects, and complete a production-grade capstone tied to business return on investment. Gauntlet also offers individual engineers a 10-week Challenger training path. The company reports more than 500 apps shipped during training and over 20,000 applicants to date.
