Gaunts of Stourport

Gaunts of Stourport is an independent, family-run funeral director serving Stourport-on-Severn, Kidderminster, Bewdley and surrounding Worcestershire communities. Formerly Hoskin’s Funeral Services, the business continues a local tradition of funeral care dating back to 1878. The Gaunt family acquired its Stourport branch at 107 The Birches in 2023, building on the foundations established by the Hoskin family and team. Gaunts combines traditional values with a modern approach, offering personal, professional support to families at any time of day or night.

Its services include help with the first steps after a death and planning a funeral, with options ranging from low-cost packages to bespoke arrangements. Families can choose from attended funerals and non-attended cremations, and access pre-paid funeral plans. Additional services and products include funeral vehicles, a chapel of rest, coffins and caskets, floral tributes, stone memorials, urns, jewellery and keepsakes, and children’s funerals. The team also provides practical information about funeral costs, payment terms and arrangements. With branches in Stourport and Kidderminster, Gaunts aims to support families with care and dignity.
