GAVS, Gruppo Amici Velivoli Storici, is a group dedicated to the restoration of historical aircraft since 1983. With a mission to preserve the legacy of Italian aviation history, GAVS has been instrumental in recovering and saving rare aircraft, such as the Nardi FN.305. Through collaborations with the Italian Air Force, museums, and international partners, GAVS has achieved remarkable restoration projects and contributed to the cultural awareness of historical aircraft significance.

With hundreds of members and local chapters across Italy, including Rome, Turin, Lombardy, Genoa, and Tuscany, GAVS engages in activities ranging from aircraft restoration to the publication of the magazine "Ali Antiche."
