About Gay Ski Week
Aspen Gay Ski Week (AGSW) is an annual LGBTQ+ gathering in Aspen, Colorado, combining mountain sports, social events, culture, and professional networking. Founded in 1977, the event has grown beyond a traditional ski vacation into a week of programming for LGBTQ+ people and allies, including professionals, community members, and visitors. Its 2027 Golden Jubilee is scheduled for January 17–24.
AGSW invites guests to ski and snowboard while taking part in parties, après-ski gatherings, panels, and signature activities such as the Downhill Costume Contest. The program also includes sober and adjacent events, with opportunities to connect through social and professional events. Visitors can find information about tickets and passes, schedules, lodging, lift tickets, equipment rentals, lessons, flights, and luggage shipping, as well as shopping and dining partners.
The event offers ways to participate beyond attending, including volunteering, sponsorship opportunities, and donating auction items. Aspen Gay Ski Week is a fundraiser for AspenOUT, a nonprofit organization recognized as a 501(c)(3).
