Global Blockchain Business Council

The Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC) is the largest industry association dedicated to blockchain technology and digital assets, established in Davos in 2017. As a Swiss-based non-profit organization, GBBC boasts over 500 institutional members and 301 ambassadors across 117 jurisdictions, bringing together regulators, business leaders, and innovators. The council aims to promote the adoption of blockchain technology through various initiatives, including the GBBC Financial Services, InterWork Alliance (IWA), and the BITA Standards Council.

GBBC also runs the International Journal of Blockchain Law, which aids in legal education surrounding blockchain and digital assets, and GBBC Giving, which supports underserved communities globally. Additionally, the U.S. Blockchain Coalition focuses on advancing blockchain use cases and shaping policy across several states. By fostering collaboration and dialogue, GBBC works to create secure and equitable societies while empowering diverse sectors to harness the transformative potential of blockchain technology.
