About Great Barrington Declaration
Great Barrington Declaration is an international declaration written from a global public health and humanitarian perspective. It addresses concerns about the current COVID-19 strategies that are placing the heaviest burden on our children, the working class, and the poor. The declaration argues that the widespread lockdowns, contact tracing, and isolation measures impose unnecessary health costs on people and that a focused protection plan would be a more effective approach in the long run.
It was written by Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, Dr. Sunetra Gupta, and Dr.
Martin Kulldorff, with assistance from a family member and a journalist. The declaration was signed by various scientists, government officials, and the public, and it aims to provide an alternative perspective on tackling the pandemic. Great Barrington Declaration is supported by the American Institute for Economic Research and encourages engagement through its official social media accounts
