Government College of Engineering, Keonjhar (GCE Keonjhar) is a government engineering institution in Odisha, formerly known as the Odisha School of Mining Engineering, Degree Stream. Established in 1995 with Mining Engineering as its first discipline, the college added Electrical and Mechanical Engineering in 1997. In 2006, the Government of Odisha made it a constituent college of Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha, with the aim of developing it as a centre for engineering and technology education.
The college offers undergraduate engineering programmes across Civil, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Metallurgical and Materials, Mineral, and Mining Engineering. Its academic resources and activities include faculty-led teaching, a library, academic calendars and regulations, examinations, and student notes. GCE Keonjhar also provides information and support for admissions, scholarships, internships, and placements.
Campus life includes student activities, clubs, NCC, and halls of residence. The institution features research and industrial consultancy, academic collaborations, and conferences, seminars, and workshops, alongside quality assurance and student support committees
