Gleitschirmclub Ostschweiz (GCO) is a paragliding club serving enthusiasts in eastern Switzerland. Its focus is on bringing pilots together to enjoy and develop their interest in flying, with the Alpstein, Ebenalp, Kronberg and Säntis among the locations associated with the club. GCO provides a programme of flying activities and social events throughout the year, including an opening fly-in, club championships, cross-country flying and an outing to a new flying area.
Members can also take part in a grill event, an autumn flying week and the annual Chlausabend, alongside the club’s general meeting. The club publishes a yearly schedule, with dates available for members to add to their calendars, and shares information about its leadership, history and club competitions. GCO’s website also features member resources and updates.
For enquiries, the club can be contacted at info@gco. ch or by phone on 079 209 57 92. Its calendar reflects a community-oriented approach, combining opportunities to fly with events that help members stay connected
