Great Central Railwayana Limited (GCR) is the oldest and leading specialist auctioneer and valuer of railwayana, transport-related, and advertising memorabilia. With over 35 years of experience, GCR has developed a reputation for their expertise in collecting railwayana. They are the only specialist railwayana auctioneers with full-time staff and their own custom-built premises in Woodford Halse, strategically located for easy access to the UK's motorway network.

GCR holds regular specialist sales in a pavilion at NAEC Stoneleigh, making it an exciting event rather than just an auction. They also hold sales in the picturesque village of Bloxham, conveniently located near London and the heart of the UK. GCR offers a bespoke collection and delivery service to both vendors and buyers.

Their catalogues feature color photographs and every lot is illustrated for their Stoneleigh Auction. Notable items sold by GCR include nameplates from prestigious locomotives, a Smokebox number plate from Mallard, and the George Cross Medal awarded to Driver Wallace Oakes. GCR's dedication to quality and customer satisfaction has made them a trusted name in railwayana auctions
