About Green Crescent Trust
Green Crescent Trust (GCT) is a non-profit organization in Sindh, Pakistan, dedicated to achieving social and economic development through education. Established in 1995, GCT's mission is to create positive change in Pakistan by providing access to quality education. Over the years, it has evolved into an extensive network that currently manages more than 150 schools across underserved areas of Sindh. These schools offer primary and secondary level education.
GCT not only focuses on primary and secondary education but has also addressed other social needs. To support orphan students, GCT has established the Orphan Support Program, providing essentials such as monthly rations, clothes, and education support. Additionally, they have initiated The Water Project, aiming to provide safe and sustained access to water in the Tharparkar region.
The organization has received numerous awards and recognitions for its contributions and has been praised by prominent personalities in the country. Through various events, partnerships, and ongoing expansion, GCT continues to fulfill its commitment to transforming lives through education in Pakistan.
