About Global Development Network
The Global Development Network (GDN) is a reputable international organization dedicated to advancing high-quality social science research in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs). With a mission to promote better lives, GDN supports policy-oriented research that informs decision-making and drives inclusive development choices. They firmly believe that locally-driven research leads to more informed policies, increased ownership, and sustainable development.
Established in 1999, GDN is headquartered in New Delhi, India, and also has a presence in Clermont-Ferrand, France, and the United States. By fostering research capacity across countries and disciplines, GDN empowers researchers and policymakers to address pressing societal challenges effectively. GDN's comprehensive strategy for 2017-2022 guides their programs worldwide, while their strong network of partners and funders enables them to implement impactful initiatives.
