Guide Dogs Australia

Guide Dogs Queensland is a community organisation supporting people with vision loss to build independence, participation, inclusion and wellbeing. For more than 65 years, it has helped Queenslanders pursue their goals and live life on their own terms, regardless of their level of vision. Its personalised services include mobility and orientation support, practical skills for living more independently at home, emotional wellbeing support, and programs for adults, children, teenagers and carers. The organisation also helps clients understand funding options and access appropriate services.

Guide Dogs Queensland trains Guide Dogs and relies on volunteers to help raise puppies and prepare dogs for their life-changing work. People can support its mission by donating, volunteering, joining fundraising events, becoming a Puppy Pal, or partnering with the organisation. It also offers Guide Dogs Pet Insurance for cats, dogs and registered Guide Dogs; the insurance helps support Guide Dogs Australia. The Golden Paws Lottery provides another way to contribute while entering prize draws.
