Recon Tactical Gear is a Tennessee-based tactical and everyday-carry retailer built around practical equipment, honest demonstrations, and personal service. Its goal is to make dependable gear more affordable and accessible, supported by clear explanations and a community-first approach. Recon Originals include the Viper pocket knife, Eclipse flashlights, and RT-1 tourniquet, alongside a changing selection of knives, EDC products, tactical equipment, and trauma gear from other brands.

Recon sells its own products through Whatnot Buy It Now and live shows, where customers can see gear in close-up, ask questions, and get real-time guidance. The company also features auctions, themed shows, giveaways, and mission-driven fundraisers. Recon says its products are field-tested and offers a limited lifetime warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. The Viper includes lifetime knife maintenance for its first owner through the Recon EdgeCare program.

The brand’s broader mission includes MindFrontTogether, which organizes free mental health resources for military members, veterans, first responders, civilians, and families, and supports outreach and medical gear initiatives.
