GEASM (Groupe d’Exploration et d’Activités Sous-Marines) is an associative scuba diving club based in Nantes, France. For more than 40 years, its team of passionate instructors and volunteers has helped people discover, learn and enjoy underwater diving in a friendly, safety-focused environment. The club welcomes both aspiring divers seeking formal training and experienced enthusiasts looking to develop their skills or dive with a community.
GEASM offers FFESSM-affiliated training from Level 1, for supervised diving to 20 metres, through Level 4, which prepares divers to guide groups. Courses also cover Nitrox, skill development and the use of dry suits. Its activities include regular club dives, with more than 50 dives organized and over 25 participants validated each year. The club has more than 80 members and 19 instructors and supervisors. Based in Nantes, GEASM provides a welcoming setting to train, improve and practise scuba diving while emphasizing camaraderie and safety.
