This multilingual historical memorial website documents places, events and people connected to the Second World War in France and Greece. Its extensive, region-by-region directory guides visitors to sites across metropolitan France, including memorials, former camps and prisons, deportation locations, resistance landmarks and places of wartime violence. Coverage spans major cities such as Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux and Toulouse, as well as towns and rural communities. Dedicated sections explore the Resistance, Jewish deportation, repression and liberation in Grenoble, alongside short biographies of victims, resistance members, perpetrators and collaborators.

The site also presents Greek remembrance locations, from Athens and Thessaloniki to villages and regions in Crete and across the mainland, including sites associated with massacres, occupation, imprisonment and the Holocaust. Introductory material and timelines provide historical context, while supporting resources include thematic articles, literature, media, abbreviations and image credits. Organized as a research and remembrance guide rather than a commercial service, the resource helps readers locate and learn about memorial sites and the history they preserve.
