GegantCat is a collaborative online portal dedicated to the “Món Geganter” of Catalonia and the wider Catalan-speaking territories. Established in 2003, it aims to gather and share information about giants, smaller giants and children’s giants from towns, cities and community groups. Visitors can explore a catalogue of entries, including photographs and descriptive details, organized by region, comarca and municipality.

A searchable directory and interactive giant map help users find figures by location, while featured entries offer stories about their history and origins. The site also publishes updates on new and revised records, along with blog articles, interviews and information about giant festivals and participating groups. Community members can contribute by submitting a record for a giant not yet listed or reporting changes to an existing entry, such as updated images or improved information.

With thousands of published records, GegantCat serves as a reference resource for enthusiasts and anyone interested in discovering the traditions and figures of the giant festivals found across the region
