東京芸術劇場 is a renowned arts and culture facility established by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to promote and enhance the artistic and cultural exchange in Tokyo. Opened in October, 1990, it features a grand concert hall with the world's largest pipe organ, a mid-sized theater for performances such as theater and dance, and two smaller theaters for various productions. In addition, it houses four exhibition spaces, conference rooms, and rehearsal rooms, making it a versatile venue for art activities beyond performances.

Managed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture, 東京芸術劇場 continually offers an impressive range of programs, including unique concerts and lectures featuring the iconic pipe organ, regular concerts in partnership with the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, and Theater Opera, which showcases high-quality staged opera performances. The theater has recently undergone renovations and reopened in September, 2012, ready to serve as a hub for cultural creation, talent development, education, and international cultural exchange.
