About Gela Beach
Gela Beach is a beachwear brand that offers sustainable and versatile cover-up dresses for women. It all started when founders Paige and Rocco were denied service at a local restaurant because Paige was wearing only a bathing suit and a towel around her waist. Frustrated by the experience, they came up with the idea of adding straps to the towel, turning it into a dress.
They worked with a local seamstress to develop samples, eventually choosing a sustainable, ultra-soft bamboo fabric with just the right amount of stretch. The result was the Gela Beach cover-up dress, perfect for beach-to-bar transitions. Not only is each dress designed to flatter your figure, but it is also eco-friendly and comfortable.
