Gemeindebad Altdöbern

Förderverein Gemeindebad Altdöbern e.V. is a local association supporting the Freibad Altdöbern, an outdoor swimming pool in Altdöbern, Germany. Its website provides practical information about the pool season, opening times, admission, events and ways to get involved. The pool typically opens during the summer months, with daily hours and possible extensions during school holidays; opening may depend on the weather, and updates are shared through the Freibad Altdöbern WhatsApp channel.

The association also promotes swimming skills and water safety. During the summer holidays, it offers three swimming courses, usually held Monday to Friday in the morning. Participants can work toward water safety and may also complete the Seepferdchen or another swimming level. Swimming badges can be arranged separately by agreement with the swimming instructor. Visitors can buy individual admission or discounted 10-visit cards, with reduced rates for children, late arrivals and sports groups. People can support the association by becoming members or making donations; donation receipts are available on request. The site also provides contact details, directions and association documents.
