About IUCN
The IUCN Gender and Environment Resource Center is committed to advancing gender equality and environmental goals together. As a rights-based organization, IUCN recognizes the importance of equal opportunity, inclusion, and diversity. Through their initiative called Advancing Gender in the Environment (AGENT), IUCN, in partnership with USAID, promotes gender integration in environmental programming, empowering women, and improving gender equality.
AGENT envisions a world that approaches environmental work at all levels with gender-responsive policies and actions.
