Genealogie Ermelo is a local family-history website maintained by Vereniging Historisch Ermeloo. It helps visitors explore their connections to Ermelo through genealogical records covering the town’s residents over approximately the past 200 years. The project is supported by a volunteer working group that processes and publishes family-history information. Its scope is focused on people with a relationship to Ermelo; the site does not compile complete family trees for individual families.

Alongside dates and family relationships, the collection brings together materials that add personal and historical context. These include photographs, official records, wedding invitations, death notices, gravestone information, videos, audio recordings, documents, and life stories. Visitors can search by first name or surname, use advanced search, and browse places, notes, dates, anniversaries, cemeteries, albums, reports, statistics, sources, and other research resources. New information is added regularly, helping the collection grow over time. The website also provides a contact form for questions, comments, and contributions, inviting users to share relevant additions and continue discovering the history of Ermelo families.
