General Awnings is an online retailer specializing in awnings, patio covers, shades, and outdoor structures for residential and commercial use. Customers can shop through its website or call the company for assistance, with free shipping offered on orders to the 48 contiguous United States.

Its selection includes door and window awnings in aluminum, fabric, Galvalume steel, and polycarbonate, as well as standing-seam, suspended, commercial, retractable, casement, see-through, and dome-shaped designs. General Awnings also sells aluminum and retractable patio covers, covers with Sunbrella fabric or insulated ceilings, carports, pergolas, gazebos, shelters, and roller shades. Featured products range from door canopies and window awnings to marquee-style patio covers and retractable patio awnings.

The company presents awnings as practical additions that can shade homes, protect furniture and flooring from direct sunlight, and help keep interiors, porches, and patios cooler. It also highlights potential energy savings and improved curb appeal. Product listings include base prices, and the site provides information on shipping, returns, and customer contact options.
