Générale d’Œnologie is an oenology consultancy and wine laboratory based in Le Pallet, in the Nantes vineyards. Founded in its current form in 2009, it expanded its expertise in 2020 by taking over Anjou Œnologie Conseil in Beaulieu-sur-Layon, serving wine producers across areas from Vendée to Anjou and Saumur. Its team of seven consulting oenologists works with growers, merchants and cooperatives, offering tailored support for conventional and organic operations of all sizes.

The company operates two laboratories dedicated to wines, fermented beverages and fruit juices; one is accredited by COFRAC. Services include routine and specialist analysis of musts and wines, microbiological testing, harvest-to-bottling monitoring, blending trials and preparation for bottling, as well as selected analyses through a specialist partner. The team also provides advice on vinification, ageing, tastings, blends and wine range development, through annual or à la carte packages. For sparkling wines made by the traditional method, it supports production from grape and parcel choices to tirage and expedition liqueurs, with options for cellar storage and finishing.
