Genereux is an independent wine retailer based on Vesterbrogade in Copenhagen’s Vesterbro district, where it has served customers since 2005. The brand focuses on high-quality, distinctive wines from passionate winemakers who respect their vineyards and local terroir. Many of its selections are organically or biodynamically produced, and Genereux imports its wines directly from the growers.
Its online shop features wines from regions including France, Italy, Spain, Austria and Greece, alongside natural wines and special selections. Customers can also explore curated tasting cases, monthly wine subscriptions, vintage boxes and featured bottles such as Sablet Blanc. The shop offers delivery, with free shipping on orders over DKK 1,800.
Genereux also hosts wine tastings at its welcoming cellar shop, pairing themed selections with charcuterie, tapas or light dishes. These events give guests an opportunity to discover wines, learn about the producers and enjoy the brand’s knowledge and enthusiasm. The Vesterbro shop has regular opening hours on Thursdays and Fridays, with visits on other days available by arrangement.
