GenesisGlobalMarket

Genesis Global Market is a Phoenix-based organization working to strengthen local food systems and help communities access fresh, locally grown food. Grounded in diversity, equity, and inclusion, it supports local farmers and artisans while promoting healthy living, public health, and community connection. The organization operates farmers markets in Phoenix in partnership with TigerMountain Foundation, offering fresh produce and unique artisan products for shoppers to enjoy and buy locally.

Genesis Global Market aims to give farmers a direct-to-consumer platform, helping them reach customers and receive fair prices. Its work also promotes sustainable farming practices, supports food sovereignty, and encourages a food system better able to adapt to climate change. By making nutritious food more accessible, the markets contribute to community health and well-being, while local purchasing can boost the economy and reduce the carbon footprint associated with food.

Beyond shopping, the markets serve as gathering places for families and neighbors. Genesis Global Market also shares news, events, and health awareness information, and hosts community experiences such as the Big Catz Culinary Experience.
