About Genetic Alliance UK
Genetic Alliance UK is the largest alliance of organizations in the UK dedicated to supporting individuals with genetic, rare, and undiagnosed conditions. With over 200 member organizations, we prioritize the needs and well-being of our members and the people they support. Our main objective is to advocate for fast and accurate diagnosis, high-quality care, and access to the best available treatments.
Additionally, we actively promote advancements in research and engage with decision-makers and the public to raise awareness about the challenges faced by our community. We have two longstanding projects: Rare Disease UK, which focuses on ensuring that individuals and families affected by rare conditions receive a final diagnosis, coordinated care, and specialized treatment, and SWAN UK, the only dedicated support network for families affected by undiagnosed genetic conditions. With an experienced staff team and a board of trustees representing our member organizations, we are committed to making a significant impact in the field.
