Genomapp is a genetic-data analysis service that helps people explore information contained in raw DNA files from direct-to-consumer testing companies. Compatible with popular providers including 23andMe, Ancestry and MyHeritage, its app lets users upload their data and review personalized reports on complex diseases, inherited conditions, pharmacological response, traits, observable signs and blood groups.

The platform draws on scientific sources and a database covering more than 9,500 conditions, 12,400 genes and 180,000 genetic markers. Its reports are designed to explain genetic findings in accessible language, with visualizations, and can be exported as PDFs to share with a doctor. Genomapp is available for iOS and Android, with some reports offered for a fee.

Privacy is central to the service: the company says genetic data is not stored or uploaded to its servers and is accessible only to the user. Genomapp also publishes educational articles about genetics and featured conditions, helping users learn more about their results and the science behind them.
