Genpax

Genpax is a company focused on transforming how infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance are tracked through precision genomics. It provides IDEM, an automated platform for analyzing whole genome sequencing data from bacteria. By identifying related strains, detecting re-emerging pathogens, and producing comparable results across sites, IDEM helps users see connections that may otherwise be difficult to detect.

Genpax presents its platform as a way to connect healthcare systems, governments, and industry in support of global pathogen surveillance. Its work serves several sectors: healthcare teams can use genomic insights to support infection prevention and control; public health organizations can strengthen surveillance from local to global levels; One Health initiatives can track bacterial pathogens across relevant settings; and research and development teams can apply the platform to bacterial genomics.

The company brings together experts from diverse disciplines and promotes innovative approaches to combating infectious diseases. Genpax also provides resources including technical documentation, supported species information, a library, blog, press updates, and demonstration videos.
