Genti Arrubia

Associazione “Genti Arrubia” is a cultural association focused on literature, music, and the diverse traditions of the Mediterranean. Through festivals, author events, workshops, and public gatherings, it creates opportunities for readers, writers, and communities to share ideas and engage with culture. Its main initiative, the Festival della Letteratura, has featured editions from 2015 through 2026, with events and related activities documented in photographs and other media.

The association also organizes meetings with authors, both in person and online, and has hosted writers including Salvatore Niffoi, Matteo Porru, Paolo Arigotti, and Emanuele Cioglia. Its wider program includes writing workshops, seminars, discussions on women’s perspectives, book-focused activities, and events commemorating writer Salvatore Satta. The site also highlights creative projects such as a comics workshop, a Quartu slang dictionary, and a book written by young participants titled “Costruttori di pace” (“Builders of Peace”).

Genti Arrubia’s work brings literature and community participation together through cultural programming, publications, and events in Sardinian locations including Quartu, Sinnai, Maracalagonis, and Tortolì
